The concept behind the card design

Designing the deck of cards, I choose to combine typography and knight together and so I came up with 

The Knight Type. The reason I choose this theme and the type of design is I want it to be challenging and It was indeed a very challenging process to come up with a typography design that is simple yet visibly pleasing to the viewers.

 

I want to incorporate typography design into something modern design and so I played around with lines and perspectives that work both ways when you flip the card while playing.
